Overview

Catch is a keyboard application that polishes your text using AI. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Information We Collect

When you use Catch, the following information is sent to our server:

• Message text — the text you choose to polish. It is sent to our server for processing and is not stored after the response is returned.
• Device identifier — a randomly generated ID used for rate limiting and usage tracking. It is not linked to your identity.
• Metadata — message size, language, polishing level, and timestamp. Retained to monitor service health and improve quality.

How We Use Your Information

Your text is forwarded to Google Gemini, a large language model operated by Google, to generate a polished version. Google's servers are located in the United States. We do not use your text for any purpose other than returning the polished result to you.

Metadata is used in aggregate to understand usage patterns and improve the service. It is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

Data Retention

• Message content — not stored. Discarded immediately after the AI response is generated.
• Metadata — retained for up to 90 days, then deleted.
• Device identifier — retained as long as you use the service. Resets if you reinstall the app.

Third-Party Services

Catch relies on the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini — processes your text for AI-powered polishing. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — manages subscriptions for Catch Pro. Processes your Apple ID transaction data. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

International Data Transfers

Your text is processed by Google Gemini on servers located in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your data will be transferred internationally. By using Catch, you consent to this transfer.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the data we hold about your device identifier
• Request deletion of your metadata
• Withdraw consent by simply uninstalling Catch or disabling the keyboard

Children's Privacy

Catch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

When we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and re-display the in-app disclosure screen so you can review the changes before continuing to use Catch.
